Riga shipyard is the largest yard on the Eastern shores of
the Baltic Sea, repairing more than 130 sea vessels per year
for many ship owners throughout the world.
The Yard was established in 1913 and is situated
in the
historic Hansa Town Riga, the capital of the Republic of
Latvia,
its historical and cultural centre.
The Ship yard specializing in construction of fishing
boats, coastal ferries, auxiliary crafts was privatized
in 1995.

Shipyard's most essential features are:
- Performing of any repair/conversion works for any type of
vessels including reefers, gas carriers, passenger ships,
Ro-Ro, crude oil and chemical tankers, fishing ships.
- Low time and high quality repair at moderate, competitive
prices.
- Modern facilities within 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
- Employs experienced staff of more than 1100 people certified
by the DNV, Lloyd's Register, MRS.
- Acts as a local representative of all major Classification
Societies.
- Repair facilities are able of accommodating Panamax vessels
with berths up to 8.0 meters draft, total length 2000 meters.
- Other equipment includes shore cranes with lifting capacity
of 32 tons, floating cranes - up to 100 tons. The shipyard
has its own tugboats and diving facilities.

More than 70 ships have been constructed in the last 35
years including completely equipped vessels.
All the vessels entering the
RIGA SHIPYARD are subject to
the discount on tonnage, lighthouse and canal dues.
Riga Shipyard enjoys great demand from EU customers.
The company has managed to ensure a great number of
prospective orders for shipbuilding and ship repairs
for the next several years.
